1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Layla Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Bot, the Layla dashboard at laylaa.xyz, and related services. By using Layla, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the service:

  • Discord account data — user ID, username, avatar, and server memberships when you sign in with Discord.
  • Server data — guild ID, settings, bot/profile preferences, and music-related stats for servers where Layla is present.
  • Usage data — commands used, play history, and listener activity needed for dashboard features.
  • Premium / Plus data — subscription status, assigned servers, and manager IDs you configure.
  • Payment data — billing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers. We may keep invoice references and subscription status.

3. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate you and show your servers in the dashboard.
  • Provide music playback, settings, and profile customization.
  • Operate Premium and Plus features (assign, managers, status).
  • Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
  • Communicate about billing, security, or service changes when needed.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

  • Discord, as required to operate the Bot and OAuth login.
  • Payment processors for Premium / Plus purchases.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf.
  • Authorities when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We keep data while your account or servers use Layla, and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, billing records, and abuse prevention. You may request deletion of dashboard-related data via our support channels; some records may be retained when legally required.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Choices

  • Disconnect Discord OAuth or remove the Bot from your servers at any time.
  • Update server and profile settings from the dashboard.
  • Contact us to ask what data we hold or to request deletion where applicable.

8. Children

Layla is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord and local law). If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Layla after changes means you accept the updated policy.
